Magnetic Energy and December – Thoughts

I was told that I had magnetic energy the other day.

I added a few potential friends to my circle because of it.  All day and since then I’ve felt that energy and It’s growing.

I love this time of year for how I feel in it.  For the tranquility and love that seems to flow through people as they prepare for the new year.

Do you ever consider how you’ve affected the lives of those around?

How your presence in their lives shifted their direction in some small or big way.  You might not realize it at the time, but stick around and you’ll see why your mark in this world matters.

Why your light matters.  No matter how low you might feel at any given moment.

December’s going to be a great month for growth, but I also feel like I’m at a standstill.  I might be magnetic, but I have no idea what to do with that power.

I’m figuring out a way to shift my life in a different direction.  Nothing drastic, I love my life, just small changes.  Because this standstill’s messing with me.

I’m also at a point in my life where I’m ready to be in a relationship.  I’ve dated, but I haven’t been intentional in the type of guy I want to attract.  I need to take a serious look at what I want in a boyfriend.  This way I stop going out with guys who I already see no future with going into the first date.

I sometimes can’t believe I’m living in Los Angeles.  I forget sometimes.  That this was a dream for so long.  Sometimes I forget to be thankful for this life and everything in it.  Life aligned the way it was supposed to.  I believe this 100%.  Timing matters, and it’s all gotten me to this moment.

When I reflected on past months I noticed a trend.  At some level, I had been isolating myself from those around me.  As a result, I was removing myself from potential friendships out of a story I had believed for so long.  I was missing out on some amazing conversations and growth.  I see now how this story affected me.  I’m grateful for the realization and I’m thankful that I have the tools to shift my perspective.

Lately, I’ve felt more at peace than I have.  I don’t want to say I’m content because that implies settling, but I’m happy with the way things are progressing.  I had set an intention in August that I wanted to get to know certain people better.  To expand my circle and develop meaningful connections.  It’s been a few months but things are falling into place.

This year’s ending on a high note and I’m so ready for 2019!
